Set another Personal Best today, and didn’t even break a sweat! The flight from Vancouver to Amsterdam took only 8:10 hrs, due to strong favorable winds at our altitude. Normally the journey takes at least 1 hour longer. No complaints there!

What better spot to say goodbye to Salt Spring than the very top of Mount Maxwell. Called Baynes Peak, it offers superb views of Vancouver Island, the surrounding Gulf Islands and even the mainland of British Columbia.
