The need for security is based on not knowing the true self. Security and Certainty are a result of rigid attachment to the known. However, the known is nothing other than the prison of past conditioning.

The Wisdom of Insecurity and Uncertainty

April 28, 2011 | Pamela | comment »

“To be grounded in Uncertainty you will find freedom to create anything you want. Security and Certainty are a result of rigid attachment to the known. However, the known is nothing other than the prison of past conditioning. Uncertainty on the other hand, is the fertile ground for pure creativity and freedom.

Uncertainty is the same thing as taping into the unknown in every moment of our existence. It is the field of possibilities. Ever fresh, always new, always open to new possibilities. Without uncertainty and the unknown life is just the stale repetition of outwarn memories. You become the victim of the past and your tormentor today is yourself left over from yesterday.

The search for security is an elusion. In Vedic wisdom the search is called the ‘Wisdom of Insecurity or Uncertainty’ which means that the search is actually an attachment to the known. The known is our past and the prison of past conditioning and there is no evolution in that which means there is stagnation, entrophy, disorder and decay.
Step into the uknown and you will step into the Field of all Possibilities. Every moment the brings excitement, adventure, and mystery. And every day you can look forward to the excitement of what may occur in that Field of all Possibilities.”
