What better spot to say goodbye to Salt Spring than the very top of Mount Maxwell. Called Baynes Peak, it offers superb views of Vancouver Island, the surrounding Gulf Islands and even the mainland of British Columbia. Waking up to a breathtakingly beautiful sunrise is one of the finer pleasures in life. It never fails to bring a big smile to my face and gets me excited to get up and make the most of the day. Such a fine beginning is surely a sign of even better things to come!
